Can Kate Middleton Get Pregnant?

Can Kate Middleton get pregnant

Not long after the royal wedding did baby-watchers start speculating that Kate Middleton can’t get pregnant.

A cover story in InTouch Magazine alleges that Kate Middleton is infertile due to health complications she suffered as a teenager. The magazine quoted an anonymous source “close to Camilla” (Camilla Parker-Bowles, the wife of Prince Charles and stepmom to Prince William) who says that Kate Middleton will have a hard time conceiving a child.

Allegedly, Prince William was aware of this before he popped the question, but he wanted to marry Kate anyway because he loves her. Aww, isn’t that sweet.

Except that it probably isn’t true. After the royal wedding, the tabloids were desperate for anything — ANYTHING — they could write about Kate Middleton. She’s the media darling, the star of the world stage. She’s Generation Y’s Princess Diana.

And of course, when the heir to the throne gets married, people naturally start wondering about a baby. (We at Pregnant Kate sure are on the royal baby watch!!) So why not combine the two juicy stories and  allege — pretend — that Kate Middleton is infertile?

Then when the royal baby announcement comes, the magazine can run another headline: Will and Kate’s Relief!
