Although Oprah Winfrey has hosted a 25-year-long daytime talk show, publishes her own magazine and now runs her own television network, more Americans trust Kate Middleton than Oprah.
Kate Middleton ranked fifth place on a list of the celebrities Americans trust the most. Considering the fact that she’s not an American — in fact, Kate has only stepped foot in America once, for about 48 hours — that’s not bad. I’ve been in America for decades and no one’s put me on the list yet. 
The number one most trusted celebrity in America is 86-year-old Betty White. Second place is Tom Hanks (how can you not trust and love the man who starred in Forest Gump and Castaway?) Sandra Bullock came in third, which just makes her heartbreak with cheatin’ lover Jesse James all the more sad.
Morgan Freeman came in fourth place — I knew there was a reason he keeps playing the role of God in movie after movie!
Kate Middleton came in fifth place, with Oprah and Taylor Swift tying for sixth.
